Strong Start

Strong Start is a free early learning drop-in program funded by the Ministry of Education, for parents and their children, 5 years of age and under.

Sooke School District works closely with Sooke Family Resource Society and other community resource agencies to provide a quality program for parents, grandparents or caregivers and their children.

Strong Start will be returning to a Drop-in program this year 2023-2024. Bookings are no longer required.

• Families may attend 2 indoor programs per week maximum
• Enter the classroom by the outside YELLOW ramp – far corner of the school

Please fill out a registration and provide a copy of your childs birth certificate and return to the

Monday 8:35-11:35am @ the classroom

Tuesday 8:45-11:15am @ outside Centennial Park (on Carlow)

Wednesday 8:35-11:35am @the classroom

Thursday 8:45-11:15am @ outside Centennial Park (on Carlow)

Friday  8:35-11:35am@ the classroom

**Outdoor Programs will be cancelled when temperatures are -5 and below and or when winds exceed 40km/hr.
