SLIME RECIPES – We are asking families to be aware of how their children are making slime and please be sure they are not using borax. There are many ways to make slime without borax and recipes can be found at

https://www.funwithmama.com/make-slime-without-borax/

If you are able to, please send in children’s books in good condition for our book rack in the foyer. Students check this regularly to ‘bring a book/take a book’ and having fresh titles helps keep it going!

The PAC is asking for gently used smaller toy donations for the Fun Fair. A donation bin is set up outside the office. Also if any families have a home business or work for a company that have anything they’d like to donate for the “Loonie/Twoonie” auction they can email  ruthkingpac@gmail.com. Attendance at school is important to us.  Please try to have your children at school on time and ready for school.  If your child is late, please remember to sign them in at the office before heading to class.  If your child is going to be away, please call the safe arrivals phone line: 250-478-1447 TOYS AT SCHOOL         Please remind students not to bring their own toys to school.  We have plenty of things for the students to do at school, and unfortunately their own toys tend to cause issues in the classroom and on the playground.  Thank you for monitoring what your child puts in their backpacks.
