Happy Father’s Day to everyone celebrating today. Hope you are enjoying some family time. I just wanted to thank everyone whom organized and volunteered at the Family Fun Night on Friday. Many families showed up and enjoyed the festivities. I think the PAC probably made some money. Thank you again!!

Only two weeks of school left in this year. There are many fun activities planned. Please make sure to sign any permission forms and send along the appropriate items for the field trips or fun days.

We are looking for a few more volunteers for the morning of June 21st to help with the bannock making station. If you are available, please let me know.

This Week:

Monday – June 19th

·       Monday Morning Assembly – 9:00am

·       Hot Lunch Options – penne bolognaise, mandarin orange OR seafood/sausage jambalaya + green salad + powerball

·       Field Trip – Beach Day @ Langford Lake (Div 1 and 4) 10:00am to 1:30pm
Tuesday – June 20th ·       Hot Lunch Options – egg salad bunwich, banana bread OR chicken noodle soup + ‘greek salad’ + fruit
Wednesday – June 21st

·       National Indigenous Day – activities planned in the morning

·       Hot Lunch Options – butter chicken & rice, banana OR veggie lasagna + caesar salad + banana bread

·       Field Trip – Carlow Park (Div 3 and 4) 9:30am to 1:30pm
Thursday – June 22nd

·       RAINBOW DAY – wear your bright colours to support inclusion of everyone.

·       Hot Lunch Options – blueberry muffin, yogurt, red apple OR hamburger soup + raw veg & dip + green salad + oatmeal cookie

·       Field Trip – Playzone/Eageridge (Kindergarten) 9:40am to 11:40am
Friday – June 23rd        

·       Hot Lunch Options – smoked meat & cheese sandwich, nutrigrain bar OR breakfast for lunch – egg bites, sausage, hashbrowns + fruit salad

·       FUN DAY – bouncy castles in the morning, sprinklers, dunk tank and ice cream truck in the afternoon

·       FREE FAMILY FOOD MARKET – 2:00pm in the undercover caged area by the blue playground.  Please remember to bring your own bags.
