Hello Parents/Guardians,

Well, it is December already and our Winter Concert is happening this week.  Hopefully all of you who wanted tickets have requested them.  If not, please give the school a call or email the office.  There are still tickets available.  The tickets will be coming home with your child on Tuesday or Wednesday so that you will have them for the concert on Thursday.  Thank you to Ms.Walker for organizing the Movember Fundraiser.  They raised $210.00; good job everyone!   Also, thank you to all the parents who helped with the pizza lunch on Friday.  Your efforts are very much appreciated!

·       Popcorn Day – $2 for popcorn or $2 for Smencils – PAC organized event, please email the PAC if you have questions ruthkingpac@gmail.com

Wednesday – December 5 ·       Winter Concert Dress Rehearsal – 10:40pm
Thursday – December 6

·       Winter Concert at 1:00pm and 6:30pm

·       Div. 6 to Goldstream Park

·       Div. 8 to the Legislature
Friday – December 7

·       Boot Camp (am)

·       Health Hustle at 1:30pm

Reminders:

  • Please remember to slow down in the school zones and drop off your child on Matson Road rather than Jacklin Road as it is incredibly busy on this street. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
  • Please come in to check the “Lost & Found” on a regular basis as the pile of lost items grows very quickly. It would be really great if you could write your child’s name on their clothing and shoes so it would be easier to return these lost items.
  • The hot lunch program is available to everyone. *If you need financial assistance in order for your child/children to participate in this program, please contact the school regarding our payment options.

COSTUME REQUESTS

Div. 1 & 9  – Van der Leeden & Grimwood – Dark shirt and pants/skirt  (Black/Brown/Dark Grey)                                                 

Div. 2 & 10 & 12  – Banister, Shrieves, Stephenson – Warm Pyjama’s, flannels or sweaters

Div. 3 & 11  – Pinel & Morris – Party dresses and/or more formal attire

Div 4  – Chia/Dranchuk – bright clothing and sunglasses

Div 5 & 13  – Denton & Gronow – white shirt and dark pants

Div 6 & 7 & 8  – Sidhu, Verdel & Walker/Radsma – colourful sweaters and mitts
