It is going to be a short week this week, so let’s try to get in as much learning as possible by making sure your child is getting enough sleep and therefore getting to school on time. I know that mornings can be difficult for children and sometimes it’s hard to get them moving in the morning, but our best learning is done first thing when our brains are not too tired. There is a breakfast program in the gym starting at 7:45am, so come have breakfast and play in the gym.
Christmas time is approaching and several businesses and groups of people are approaching the school to see how they can help families at this very expensive time of year. As you know, I am new to the school and do not know which families could use extra help during this time of year. If you would like to be put on the list to receive a hamper or other form of assistance, please email me and I will forward your name to the appropriate people who are organizing this.
