Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! The weather is going to be getting colder overnight.  Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. ie: raincoat or waterproof winter coat, rubber/winter boots, toques, mitts etc.  An umbrella is also a good idea.  The students will be going outside unless it is raining/snowing sideways (extremely windy), as we feel it is a good idea to take in some fresh air during their school day.  It would also be a good idea to send a spare set of clothing to school, as there are times when children are playing so hard, that they end up getting wet.  Those puddles are just too difficult to resist sometimes.  Thank you!

Reminders:

  • Cell phones are becoming a slight problem at school because students are using them on the school property. Please remind your child, that all cellphones are required to be kept in backpacks while on school property.  If they do not feel they can handle this responsibility, please have them bring the cell phone to the office for safe keeping while at school.  The school will not be responsible for lost or stolen cell phones.
  • Please remind your child to leave their toys at home (including sports equipment). We have plenty of toys at school for your child to play with and individual toys tend to cause disputes or tears if they lose them.
