Dear Parents/Guardians,

Thank you to the parents who were involved in organizing and contributing to the Halloween Dance last week.  There were so many amazing costumes and treats.  This is a busy week so try to get those kiddos to bed on time so that they are their best selves at school and please limit the number of sugary treats in their lunches at school if possible.

This Week:

Monday – Oct 28

·       Lunch Program – Macaroni and Cheese, grapes, fruit juice

·       Div 9 and 10 (Ms. Grimwood and Ms. Walker) Field Trip to Goldstream Park

·       European Handball practise at lunch with Mr. Stephenson 12:10

·       ArtsReach Workshops in the gym for Ms.Sidhu’s Class and Mr.Gates’ Class

·       Boys Handball Game at Wishart – approx. 3:15ish

Tuesday – Oct 29

·       Grade 5 Leadership Club meets at 7:30am in Ms. van der Leeden’s classroom

·       Div 12 (Ms. Morris)  Field Trip to Goldstream Park

·       Health Hustle @ 10:45am

·       PAC is selling popcorn and Smencils at lunch today – $2.00/bag and $2.00/pencil

·       Subway Lunch today for those who ordered.

·       Lunch Program – Vegetarian Chili and cornbread; red delicious apple; chocolate milk

·       Skipping Club with Ms. Hesse at lunch – 12:10

·       RCMP Halloween Presentation – 1:00pm in the gym

Wednesday – Oct 30

·       Lunch Program – Meatball Sub and cracked wheat bun; banana; milk

·       European Handball practise at lunch with Mr. Stephenson 12:10

·       Best Buddies at 12:10 in the library

·       Girls Handball Game at Savory – approx. 3:15ish

Thursday – Oct 31

·       Lunch Program – Southwest Chicken Whole Wheat burrito w/ salsa; vanilla yogurt and granola; fruit juice.

·       Skipping Club with Ms. Hesse at lunch – 12:10

Friday – Nov 1

·       Lunch Program – cheese perogies with sour cream; Caesar salad; milk

·       European Handball practise at lunch with Mr. Stephenson 12:10

Reminders:

LOST & FOUND ITEMS

Please check out the items in the foyer.  Many, many hoodies and other attire has been left behind.

Please make sure you have pre-arranged a meeting spot for after school pick-ups.  If your child does not find their pick-up person, it is our policy that the students come back into the building and check in at the office. Attendance at school is important to us.  Please try to have your children at school on time and ready for school.  If your child is late, please remember to sign them in at the office before heading to class.  If your child is going to be away, please call the safe arrivals phone line: 250-478-1447
***Please refrain from dropping your children off at the front of the school.  Matson Road is the preferred drop off location.***
