Reminders:

  • Matson Road is the best place to drop off your children as it is the safest place for everyone. Please do not drop off your children at the front of the school.  It is a serious safety concern as I have witnessed children and adults almost being hit by vehicles in the front parking lots.
  • Dogs are still a problem on the playground as they leave deposits on the lawn that end up on the shoes and clothing of our students. Please refrain from bringing dogs onto the playground.  Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience.
  • We are experiencing high numbers of late students at school. Please try to get to school on time as every minute of learning matters.  If your child is late, please make sure they are picking up a late pass in the main office and signing in on the sign in sheet.  Thank you to our parent volunteers who are making the calls for our safe arrivals program, this is very helpful.
  • All parents must check in at the office and pick up a visitor pass upon entering the school. We have been noticing that parents/guardians are walking into classrooms without checking in at the office.  This is a safety concern as not all staff know all parents/guardians.  I have informed the staff to direct people without passes to sign in at the office.  Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
  • If you have any children’s books that you are no longer using, we have a ‘Bring a book, Take a book’ shelf in the front foyer of the school for students to access. We collect board books (for Strong Start families), chapter books and picture books and would appreciate any and all donations!
